Did I get the right length axle?
#1
I ordered a LSR Axcalibar axle a few days ago and I just got it in the mail last night. I havent had a chance to fully inspect it and I am wondering if it is the right axle.It is supposed to be adjustable -2 to +4.I am just not seeing how it will adjust that much. All it has to adjust it is 1, 1 in spacer on each side. Can anyone tell me if I am totally missing something or what? I am at work and I cant go check it out so any help would be appreciated,THX

Do you have a picture that confirms that it's the right axle?
I bought a Durablue X33 and was kind of surprised when there were only two holes in the axle for the clamping/drive bolt to go through. The way that i understand the Durablue is that to obtain all the different configurations, you have to flip the hub so the wheel bolts on from the inside of the axle. doing this on mine makes it possible to get -2, 0, +2, & +4 configurations... making it a total of 16 different ways you can set up the axle.
i nknow that they don't expect you to do the same on the durablue eliminator axle. all they have is a one inch spacer you can put on either side of the hub... but you can probly still flip the hub over too on it.

At the LSR store website:
http://www.lsracing.com/cgi-bin/store/agora.cgi
It say that most of their axels are +2 to +4 inches wider than stock.
So, one 1" spacer on each side would be correct.
