I was able to get onto atvscene.com from home and read that Laegers and possibly Roll Design might not make anymore frames. Has anyone else heard this rumor? I can see Laegers throwing in the towel after so many years, but Roll is just the most popular right now it seems.

I have often thought of building aftermarket frames. I would try to keep them more affordable though.

I read that article also. It said they were just gonna stop making frames, but would continue producing a-arms and such. The laeger and Roll stuff seems much more expensive, and I have noticed alot of guys switching to Lonestar, Burgard, etc... This could be why they're calling it quits. BUT... with Travis Spader taking the GNC championship last year using Roll products, I find it hard to believe that they are giving up this glory.

Who know, i guess just wait and see what happens?

I read this also and was somewhat concerned, especially since I want to convert to an aftermarket chassis. With the cost of these frames they have to be making a good profit so I would be suprised if they stopped.

I hate to break it to ya, but not as many Pro's as you think are running Laeger. Lonestar and Walshcraft a what the top Pro's are running....at least at Macon anyway.

Did Lonestar start buliding a new MX frame? Last year only 2-3 pros ran LSR, now quite few bigtime guys (All of Nacs, Travis Spader) are. And what happened to Laeger? 3 years ago almost all the pros ran Laeger, now only Farr and Hitt run them. Is there something going on behind the scenes (mabey LSR selling frames to pros really cheap)?

I think it just goes to show that Laeger is seriously thinking about not making any more frames. Word is, he is stopping.

After almost 10 years maybe they are ready to stop.
