Could someone clear this up for me....
What is the deal with the cylinder bore limits at Nationals?

I have a 250R and have heard that .080" over is the most I can go. Others say that 265cc's is the limit. What's the deal?

.080" over is only 262cc's. I'm at .090" right now which is 264cc's and I want to know if I'm legal.

THIS is the only thing I found.

LT,
So why does everyone say you can only go .080" over for nationals?

The rule book says that you can only .080 over the class limit not the manufactored size. That is why it is 265 not 260 or 262cc. The ATV rule is different from the bike rule in the AMA rule book.

if a class is a stock class you can bore it .080 over and be legal,,modified classes have a displacement maximum (unless its an open class) as far as why others say only go .080 over i think its just that pistons commonly go to .080 over example: i can only get a LT-80 pistons in .020, .040, .060, and .080 hope this helps
