hi my friend and i are fighting because i think that a suzuki 250r will beat any honda 250r any day but he thinks the opposite could someone please help us with this problem
please only give us an answer if you know about them and have seen them race

 

I think the Lt250r will beat it in woods, and strait aways, BUT the Trx250r will probly beat a stock Lt250r on a MX track beacause they have better suspension, i have never really raced a trx250r but i have raced a raptor and I was on his azz.

 

I have owned both, but have never raced and the LT has much better legs. The TRX is harsh in comparison. You sit "IN" the Honda and "ON" the LT. They are both close in power and only rider ability can decide who wins.

 

I think that the TRX will beat it on an MX track, with equal riders. Everywhere else, i would say the LT would be better.

I think you can pretty much judge "who" beats "who" just by realizing which quad has remianed more popular over all these years.

 

My buddy has a stock 85 250r three wheeler, and I have a stock 92 lt250r. In a drag race, they are dead even. We constantly drag and switch bikes and it always is a tie. I think that his three wheeler is a little faster because it is lighter, but they are even in a race because it is hard to keep the front end down on the trike.

 

Chawness I think we're talking stock vs stock. Anybody can sink 15,000 into a quad. Yes a rider does matter. Don't get me wrong, see my sig. There were two 250rs & two 295rs in that group of 35. I still think they are both equal quads after owning both. The Honda may be more reliable and handle better, but the LT has much better suspension and can track though whoops equally as fast.

well there is a reason that the TRX250R is the prefered racer
moral: there are 2 R motors,one is fast,dependable and comes in a chassis that handles the best of any, the other is a suzuki [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
