I am not sure if it is the same in all districts, but I am sure it is. You have to have both AMA and District membership to compete in District races. They keep points totals for end of year placings and need to track it somehow

I want to get into racing too. But around here its more than just showing up and racing, especially with the blaster class. You basically have to have a modded blaster or u can kiss a good finish goodbye. My blaster has the basics as u see down there but i would need to widen it and stuff too. I will practice the rest of the year and maybe i can get into it next year.

cross county is always an option?!?

Man, don't even think that!! You don't have to have some bad @$$ quad to compete!! I have stock pipes, and FMF Powercore silencer's on my shee, and I place top 3 every race! It's all about the rider.. I've seen blasters get into the top 5 in the pro class at our local tracks.. And trust me, that's saying alot!

Well, I have just about all the mods you do.. The racing "neccessaries". Rad valves, works threaded and rezzied duals, Lonestar +2+1's(should be at my house tomorrow), and alot of other stuff.. I can recommend making your bike handle better. To race in a Blaster class, they're all pretty much the same motor, just different suspension, and different riders. If you keep your head/heart in it, practice hard, and give it 110% all the time, you will be pleased with your performance. One other thing, don't get discouraged.. If you're in a wreck, get back on.. don't give up!

Ive had my share of crashes...never on a MX track though i lift for high school football and stuff so i am pretty good at holding on. When i do crash i have never had my quad and i go in the same direction...so im lucky.

Ive been practicing and i am gonna do all my parts i can manage to get this winter and then i should be pretty well off.
