Out of those 4, what would be the best - in your opinion - for a fast, cheapish, good mx/gncc racer? i have a mojave for parts so that kind of leans me twoards it... but - i want you're opinions
thanks

not the mojave..maybe for gncc but not for MX...the blaster is good but its expensive to get decked out enough to be competive. tecate is kind if thing but it can be good with some widening but aftermarket parts are hard to find. quadracers have some handling problems and its kind of hard to find aftermarket but not too bad. i think the LT would be the best with the kawi in a close second, then blaster, then the mojave.

I think if you are going to race a 400ex or 250R would be your best bet.

There was a guy in the atvscene.com chat room with a pretty trick Tecate. Actually, many aftermarket parts are made for the Tecate. You can transplant all the engine components off the Kawasaki KX250, and some of the suspension parts off the Mojave. Burgard makes A-Arms, Works has shocks, I'm not sure, but you could check into a Mojave axle. If you asked around, I'm sure someone could hook you up with a gusseting design, and get the frame powdercoated(not as expensive as you think), put these mods on, and you should have a real contender!

TrinityR, keep checking into the atvscene.com chat room.. The guy's name is Tecate... Or Tecate1 I would imagine that whatever year your Tecate is, you could trade parts with that KX. Just talk to that guy.. I'm sure you could use the carb, cam.. all that good stuff!! Burgard makes A Arms FOR the TECATE.. I am almost sure of that.. but works will have shocks.. Burgard a arms.. then you'll be set

No problem, I'll keep checking in there myself. If he's ever in there again, I'll get him to give me his email, and i'll reply it on here!
