i went to the race at puyallup fairgrounds today, to watch & find out more about it. cost is $8 gate fee and $25 to race, practices are $25. they had a very small group of quads,(2 250r's, 1 zilla, 2 banshees, 1 400ex, 1 blaster) the track was tough & tight- arenacross style, they ran 2 qualifying heats, 1 LCQ, and a main. the 400ex DNF'd(hurt), all others went to the main.
oakwood is $8 gate $15 to race 1 class $10 for each add'l class.
i'll be there this next week riding 2-stroke class. lots more quads show up here, check out the website- results from the last race are already posted.

hoquiam is not too far from Ward Creek MX, it's about 30-45 minutes south of there i think. i'm not sure if they have a class for quads or if they are open during the winter.
the races at spanaway(oakwood arena) and puyallup(fairgrounds) are not too far from there... about 2 hours drive, they are both just winter races and indoors.
about the same distance is Woodland MX, in Woodland, WA they are outdoors, but do have a winter series for quads on sundays. they also have summer series
also, in port angeles there's a track, and they are supposed to have classes for quads too they'll start up this next spring.
this summer SIR in Kent/Auburn has a saturday night series for quads & vintage MX, the quad classes have grown enough at SIR to warrant putting them on a seperate night.. and it appears that they'll have just about every ATV class under the sun.
i just raced at oakwood this sunday, in one moto i lost a 2nd place start(against 4 banshees & 1 250r!!) b/c i stalled it in turn 2. the 2-stroke & 4-stroke quad classes doubled since last time i was there, they each had 4 run groups of about 6-8 riders.
i have websites for some of these tracks if you want..... email me
