Thought I would let you know how my night went at the arena cross. It was my first race in over two years, and my first arena cross ever, but I enjoyed it.
I floated the valves on my 250X trying to stay with you 250R guys in the heat race!! I had a good time though still the same. I plan on putting a 350X in there and have Sparks put put in his 475cc kit, so I will be ready next time!! [KIDDING!!]

By the way,..congratulations to you Eddie. 2nd place in the main event is not bad at all for the first time in arena cross. Especially with a bone stock 250R.

Sorry you had such bad luck with your bike. No permanent damage I hope. My dad got a pretty decent picture of you during the heat: http://www.geocities.com/trxr53/patrick.jpg

I had a pretty good night. Even with the stock pipe I got a 2nd place start in the main.

Hopefully we'll be back next year, it was a lot of fun.
Good luck with the 250X, see ya later.

Eddie

BTW, we need to go woods riding sometime soon.

Yeah,I do the woods thing. Are you running any of the Memphis Hare Scramble races this year??

Me and Michael are going on March 3 for Round 1.

I heard that they cut the series down to 4 races this year, so I plan to run all 4.

As far as the X goes,...no major damage done. It's fixed now. Ready to go.

See ya.

I'm planning on running all the Memphis races. They put on some really good races, we usually get 25-35 quads in three classes. If you get there early, you can pre-ride the course. Hopefully I'll preride at all the races, but definately at Slayden (MX track).

I'm also planning on running some Mid-South races if they do a summer series. I'll be 16 by then, so I'll be able to race a lot more.

hey eddie, congradulations on the 2nd place saturday night!!! knows alot and eddie, i'm going riding in birmingham this sunday (2-17-02) if either of you want to go let me know. eddie, i have already talked with dr. griffen and he said he was going. i haven't decided if were going to go to mill creek or chandler mountain. i'm leaning toward chandler mountain just because i haven't ridden it yet. it has four table top jumps, three doubles together, and several other nice doubles. it's also a sandy track and the jumps are all pretty safe (rounded landings). mill creek is a super nice too. they are both close to each other, east side of birmingham on interstate 20. about a 2 1/2 hour drive from columbus. oh yeah, it looks like steve and greg will be riding also. i hope the weather stays nice!!!!!!!!!!! talk to yaw later, airtime

That sounds great but there are at least a hundred guys headed to Kilgore Hills Sunday and I already planned to go there.

If all goes as planned, I'm taking one of the Cannibals out there to see how it does there. I have ridden one of them alot this past week and have gotten accustomed to it. [Finally]

I am definitly interested in heading out there with you guys, but I have already had this weekend planned out for a couple of weeks now. Holler at me the next time, like I said, I am definitly interested in checking it out.

See ya airtime.

Airtime: I'm going to Turkey Bay in Kentucky this weekend, so I won't be able to make it. Chandler Mtn. sounds like a fun track, I'd definately like to go there sometime.

Knowsalot: Let me know next time you go to Kilgore. The last time I was there I was riding a Badger 80, so it's been quite a while.
