Hey just wondering if anybody is going to race the atv hare scrambles in iowa? If they r let me know so we can talk. Im going to be on my blaster this year but next year the shee is going to be terring it up.

I run MX mostly but hope to hit a few hare scrambles this summer. Back in the late 80's I ran hare scrambles on a two wheeler and loved it. I got back in to racing a few years ago on a ATV and realy enjoy Motocross. After jumping a little on a friends track I just can't get enough.

 

I was thinking about trying a couple hare scrambles this year. Does anyone know where I can get list of events? I at least want to go see one, and decide from there.

MX season Started for me today, I found out that the winter has been realy bad for me!!!

I broke down the first moto and got 8th out of 9 in the second...

Not a great start to the season but, I aleast I made it....

 

I'm afraid to find out how out of shape I am. Do those scrambles really last a couple of hours?

It is another name for a Cross Country. I haven't heard it much outside of Iowa, maybe its one of those redneck things...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I ran at Winterset yesterday. This weekend is Lamoni and then Sully on the 30th.
I'm really looking forward to Lamoni. They have a seprate track for the ATV's, and the guy that runs the is one of the nicest guy I've met.
