I am going to the Morganton GNCC. This will be my first CC race. I have raced motocross but not XC. I would appreciate tips or advice that anyone has. I will be racing the amatuer class. I have a 250R. Anything special I should be doing to my bike for water proofing and stuff? I will be in a motorhome with WV tags, anyone welcome to stop by we will have a turkey cooker with plenty of turkey. Just looking to have fun! Thanks!!

there is some deep water to cross at this race. unplug all your electric plugs and fill them with dielectric grease and then plug them back together. this should keep the water out and stop any corrosion that could form later. make sure your air box can handle water that's deep enough to cover the tires.
