Where can I find a list of Mini Quad Class, from Age and engine Size CC's
We started last year, as a try out with mini Quads in our club. and there was so much
interest now we are not sure how class them. There are too many different sizes what age?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I kinda goof earlyer, I'm no Computer wize as you see.

TQRA's website Check that link out... it should be right. The TQRA has a few mini quad classes.
I figured I would go ahead and check it out for you. This is off their website....
Peewee (50cc age 4-8)
Mini (up to 90cc, age 5-11, no engine modifications)
Super Mini (age 5-12, mod 90cc 2-strk & 125cc 4-stk, no manual clutch, atv engines only)
Now you could expand on this and make a class for mini's w/ motorcycle engines, and maybe a Peewee and Peewee advanced and then you would already have 5 different classes. If there are a lot of motorcycle engined mini's, you could make a beginner and advanced class there too, but most of the time, mini's w/ motorcycle engines have some pretty quick little kids on them... you don't usually see beginners on those.

What is done about the Factory age recomended , For example Polaris 90cc predator there is a sticker stating no one under 12 years old and I this the Suzuki Lt 80 has it too. What do clubs do to get around this ? Thanks for that web site I printed it and will bring it to our next Meeting this wednesday Jan 8,03.

The ATVA just this year changed the ages for the youth classes. The little quads with the M/C engines are fast, but try to stay with quad engines only.
Most of the little quads are 50's and 90's and use the word production if possible. The word production means stock frame and cases.
50 stock
50 production
51-90 stock
51-90 production
This is just and idea.

I understand it's not the law but I spoke to some dealerships they will not sell an ATV to a person under 12, they normaly sell to the parents and register it under the parents name for liability perpose. Now would a club be held liable, if they alloy a 7 yr.old race for example the 90cc Polaris Predator, that is listed 12 yr.old and up. My opinion a 13 yr.old kid must be getting pretty big for these small Quads, I forget how big I was at that age it toooooo long ago. Thank you for the ideas, I can use all I can Get.

The AMA/ATVA had the same age and cc as what the dealers had. But this was hurting the rider turnout. As you said the size of kids does realy go with the stickers say. The ATVA like I said will be going with different number this coming year. the biggestst think is to make sure that the parnets are at the race track that day. The laws in Canada I am sure are different than the USA.

Is AMA/ ATVA the head of ATV Rules , Regulations and Sanctioned Body for ATV Racing Sports?
Just like up here in Canada it's " CMRC" ( Canadian Motosport Racing Club ) & " CMX " ( Canadian Motocross )
Thanks.
