i don't know, i really dont even like the raptor but when ihad my 96 banshee, and my buddy had a 2002 raptor... we'd race on pavement (no traction worries to cry or blam) and we'd run pretty damn close...but as far as a predator...polaris just sucks... what the hell were you thinking in the first place? They make half decent snowmobiles,thats it, and even those bow down to an artic cat.

 

Raptors arent much better then the predaturd....It takes skill to ride a banshee as you know...Get a good rider on that shee (someone that actually knows how to ride a quad without a briggs and straton powerband) and race vs a raptor and the shee will win...

 

first of all, no point in owning a (stock banshee) with stock pipes, being that it only pulls 33hp at rear wheels with the hellashish restricted air flow, take an air box out, put on some dual air filters and tweek the carbs and get some pipes, all Very moderate uprades and then i see the point in comparing the "new" predator to the Still 1987 banshee.

 

Horsepower ratings dont mean "much" they do mean something dont get me wrong but I'd rather have 33 usuable horsepower instead of 42 horsepower quad that I can only use in certain areas of the powerband...It's all about the powerband...

 

good post, i totally agree. 33 very POTENTIAL hp is totally over ='d over 42 , pretty much , maxed out hp.

I'm in Michigan...I dont know if my drag 370 banshee will be able to compete...lmfao And if you want trails you may be able to beat my little 350 banshee with your turd...hahaha NOT...
