How do you send resumes to at the big companies? just rider support? or do u find out an actual person to send it to

 

Yeah, just send them to the companies. Or check their websites to see what the procedure is. I hate to say it, but you might be about too late to send resumes for this coming season.

 

ususally first you have to spend money with them and run there stuff and then they might consider sponsering you good luck

 

one right answer and one wrong. you are probably too late for this season and you dont have to spend money with them first. most wanted rerumes in by jan. my son has been racing for less than a year and here is what he did. there is a web site that has an outline for a resume. he made a resume there and added some of our racing pictures to it. we sent 3 out. one to nacs, one to the quad shop ad one to hetrick racing. as you can see by my signature he is now sponsored by all 3. we almost waited too late too. like you we were new to the sponsorship thing an didnt know there was a certain time of year you had to do it. next year we will send a lot more out. we have a friend that sent out more than 60 resumes this year and ended up with some really good deals. you might check for local sponsors in your area or city. places like bike shops, welding shops, tire shops, upholstery shops, really almost any kind of business. one of our buddies broke his arm riding a couple of months ago and now the orthopedic specialist that took care of his arm is one of his sponsors. good luck
