Keep in mind that not only is the titanium expensive, companies like Lonestar recommend it for light duty work as in TT racing. They say that they won't hold up to the harshes of MX and Desert racing. I am interested to see how the new LRD aluminum frames hold up.

I kow someone who is getting the LRD frame for his z and will be using it for desert racing, he should have it put together in the next month or so. I have been talking to him about doing a baja race but that wont be untill next year unless we find someone willing to put up some cash . I'll let you guys know how it holds up.

One last s-h-i-t talk before I get into frame talk. WP-who does the ranking for west coast amatuers? Did dirtwheels do a ranking on amatuers that I did'nt know about. I wonder where Im ranked? If I owned a piece of Z, I would buy a stock frame and send it to Lonestar for their gusseting service. When I get that one back, I would send my original in for the same-then I would have two race worthy frames for a lower price than a LRD or Lonestar. Sandblasting, gussets, and powercoating for the 600 bucks is not bad. If one frame breaks you have another. Dirtwheels claims that Lonestar gusseted frames should hold up a good three seasons of mx pounding. Two frames equal six seasons of racing. Get my drift?

No top riders near me!! Yeah right!!! Have you heard of Nate Frees and Mark Burns for Nacs racing? Yeah they're from IOWA!! Yeah they are Pro's!! Yeah I ride an LT and you ride a Craptor, your point is??.... Umm I don't care what your point is!! Just because I ride an LT doesn't mean I don't know jack about chassis and racing. You know more than me, so what someones gotta help the ignorant. (Ignorant= Lack of knowledge)
I could make my LT handle like the 250R, all I would have to do is send frame to HSD Racing, will I? Not anytime soon.
later

Well the pros I know get a new frame every year. And southern states (ex. TX, LA, MS, TN, AL, GA, FL) may not have as many quad racers at our locals as the northern states do, but if you look at the guys coming from the southern states that are attending the GNC's see where they are in points.
