Well did it a couple weeks ago and replaced the bearings, put on the dg exhaust finally and rejeted it, wasn't bad at all taken out the stearing stem, but those rear bearings were dirty sob's to change. The exhaust made a HUGE difference for me gained a few mph up top and alot of tq all around, I don't think it was runing right stock unless this pipe makes that much of a difference up top. (it's also for sale looking to get a raptor now)

hey, nice video. that's a pretty catchy tune as well. yeah, getting wrecks on tape was like trying to film a chupacabra. everytime we had the camera rolling no one would wreck or they'd do it off camera. and good luck with the raptor. didn't like mine that much, but it was an '02 660, and you're probably getting a 700, which should be nice.

Oh no I was looking at prolly a 660 unless I could find a 700 cheap enough. What didnt you like about it? If it's that bad maybe I'll just have to get a 450 or something. Thanks

oh. well, I put a yosh. full exhaust on mine and re-jetted it and got me a k&n air filter and it seemed I could never get the right jetting. I hated that it had two carbs. to play with so eventually I just bought an edelbrock carb. after I got that edelbrock it did seem to run really nice. but before I got that new carb. it would just be hit and miss some days. I guess it wasn't too bad of a quad, but my cousin has a modded 400ex and he kept up every where we would ride. only time I pulled ahead was on straightaways.

Oh alright I was worried about jetting the dual carbs on one of those. Yea the problem I have is keeping up on the straighter trails or backroads and stuff. I had it held wideopen most of the time I was riding last weekend and still couldn't keep up with a z400 and a yfz.

Have you thought about a yfz you can get them pretty decent off ebay Iv had 3 raptors and they are a good machine but my yfz jus ate them alive the suspension is night and day on them and my 450 with a pipe runs almost with my last raptor 05 daul exhaust edelbrock and a web cam.

Yup I'm not sure how reliable they are compared to raptors plus I like the potential of the raptor and reverse would be nice. If I do go with a raptor it would definatly be widened and I'd get better shocks for it.

Oh well I would be looking at 04-05s as my budget is only going to be 3500 maybe 4000 tops.
