I bought my 06 that had 10 hrs tops which is really an 07 that just turned a year old for 4200 off ebay and u can get the oiling mod done for 200
Where do you live also i have a friend that might be selling his yfz its 04 with oil mode and fresh rebuild by yamaha dealer

yeah, you'll definitely have to widen the raptor if it hasn't already been widened when you get it. overall it isn't a bad bike, but the dual carbs can just be a pain sometimes. that was my biggest problem. but good luck, and I hope ya find something you like.

 

ok well I gota jump in on the hole raptor ordeal. I ride a 2005 YFZ 450. I have dunkin racing fat 4 full exhaust lid off intake and had the bike jetted. Those are the only motor mods. I have yet to have a raptor come close to running with this bike even in a drag. Iv raced built stroker 400`s built race fuel TRX450 gave me a good run got him by a bike. Iv ran 2 08 kawy 450`s one with full exhaust intake and programmer and just about every thing else. No one has come with in a bike of me in a race. I have really had no trouble with the bike and every raptor I have ridden was cumbersome and top heavy. good TQ but was not a good race or stunt bike. maybe if all you do is ride wheelies great bike but I like to track ride trail ride and sand drag.
