Quad Wars 2
#1
I finally rode the quads and made a quad video. Well, 14 dirt bikes showed up too. My son came back to Michigan after spending 11 months in Afghanistan, his FOB was up in the mountains, 14 miles from Pakistan. He was fired on almost everyday. The bad guys would sneak across the boarder, shoot at our guys, and than usually die.
Anyway, my son rode my KTM bike, which forced my quads out of hibernation for me to ride. We rode my modified Yamaha 660 based quads. I rode the 686 and talked my older brother into riding my 720, my younger brother rode his 700. It was dusty at times, but I think everybody had a memorable time.
The intro to the video is supposed to be a spoof on the old movie, "West side story". Kind of stupid, but many of my intros are...

Well, you'd only have to travel up to Jackman, ME. What's a 4.5 hour trip???

This all took place in Michigan, on a "ORV Route", which is different from our normal 50" ORV loops. The route is wider for the SXS's and anything else you got. I like it cause I have widened the Raptors A-arms and axles and the wider trail makes the ride fast and furious... Thanks again for looking!

Yep, I've seen there faces on trails that allow quads in the winter. There's a few that absolutely loath ATVs. Mostly though, they don't seem to mind and know the benefit of having more dollars in the communities that allow them. I'll tell you there's no one more happy to see ATVers than the restaurant owners in the wintertime.

The snowmobilers are like the mafia and very powerful here in this state. I would rather not speak ill of them or mention anything about snowmobile trails.
