Hatfield Trails
We always ride our Favorite 3 or 4 in October.
Rockhouse, usually 80 to 90 Miles a day, this is our favorite. We ride from Man to Gilbert and back.
Bearwallow - Our 2nd Favorite has a huge coal pile to climb like sand or a powder but its all coal. 40 to 50 miles a day. Ride to Logan and eat lunch.
Little Coal River - We ride it on he way there, nice trail system but this was my first year riding it.
Buffalo Mountain- Pretty cool trail system. The coal mine is on fire there and you can feel the heat coming from the cracks and smell burning coal.
Indian Ridge - Rode it last year and I think we took the trail connector to Pinnacle, we were so tired and it rained like crazy when we got to Indian we turn back. Have to try it again one year.
That most of my last 5 years at Hatfield.
We tried a place called Black Mountain in Ohio last year too. It was OK no my favorite, but at least we were riding.

I am pretty confident you will like them both. Not sure how the snow will make the trail. We have a 4x2 will a lot of trouble going up hills in the rain. If you go check this site out. Got to know the owner pretty well over the last 5 years.
Rockhouse Lodge & The Depot Lodge Hatfield-McCoy ATV Trails
We have stayed in both of his places in Man. You get right on the Rockhouse without trailering your ATV's.
