That's why I have 4WD and a winch, and it's one of the reasons I don't ride alone anymore.

hahah i need a winch or maybe just a upgrade to 4wd haha i didn't mind though all the fun of riding

2WD can get you through a lot of crap but 4WD can get you through even more. I took my Trailblazer 250 through some deep mud and water one time. I was doing good until the rear end slid sideways. The tires dropped down in some ruts and I was high centered. I was in up to the tail light and couldn't see anything but I gave it some gas and didn't have to push much to get it out. If I was riding my Sportsman 500 instead that day I would have just drove right through it no problem. The 500 had twice as much ground clearance as the 250 since there wasn't any sprocket or brake disc sticking out in the middle of the rear end. If you do get stuck on a big utility quad it's harder to push or lift but that's what winches are for.
