Default which atv?

Thanks. I actually narrowed my options down to warrior, z250, mojave, or used z400. I would prefer manuel clutch so the z250 is a kinda "back up" if i cant spend a lot of money on an atv. I dont know about gettin a warrior because i heard that yamahas have a bad reputation, but its still an option. (I'm not fond of the 300ex so thats out of the question along with any other atvs without reverse)

The only "bad reputation" that the Warrior has is that it doesn't have as much power as newer models. That makes sense considering the design hasn't been changed since the 80's. As for Yamaha having a bad reputation, I have no idea where that came from. There isn't anything out there that can keep up with a modded Banshee. And the 300ex has reverse, though it isn't that easy to access. Kintama is absolutely right, for a first true sport quad, there is nothing more reliable for such a low price (if you buy used). To answer your question, shaft drive is more reliable, but chain drive doesn't take any of the power away from the rear wheels like a shaft.

DONT LISTEN TO ANY1 THAT SAYS THEY SEE A Z400 FRAME VERY FRAGILE... THE 400EX, THE KFX400 AND THE Z400 ARE ALL BASICALY THE SAME EXACT MACHINE FRAME WISE... SO IF U EVER SEE THAT A FRAME IS BENT ON ANY OF THOSE BIKES, THEN THE BEST THING TO DO IS TO ASSUME THE RIDER BEAT THE CRAP OUTA IT..OR WAS JUST IN A REALLY BAD ACCIDENT. THERES NO WAY U CAN HEAR ABOUT A Z400 FRAME BEING BAD AND A KFX400 FRAME BEING GOOD. DONT LET THAT STOP YA FROM GETTING A Z400..IT TRULY IS A GREAT BIKE.

I'm asking $3,200 for my Warrior. It's in very good shape. Price might be negotiable. Where are you from TrailBlazerGuy?
