i know this is besides the point but my 5'0 ft. 90 lb. sister will probably want to ride it-she can barely ride an auto-clutch. should i let her?

the 400ex is a great handleing reliable quad. for the same price however, they z/kfx/dvx 400 is the same in the same price range, have reverse, liquiod cooled, and go faster, and handle similar.

the 400ex is aircooled, has no reverse, and goes slower than the z/kfx/dvx 400.

the z400 is suzuki
the kfx 400 is kawisaki
and the dvx is arctic cat

if u trust her enough sure go for it. just make sure u teach her first. it is a little powerful for a 90lb person, but teach her.
