im a light weigh dude ) about hmm 120 lbs and its hard for me to control this TANK its also hard for me to pull it up for a whiellie in the second or more gears... so i thougt about buying a strong and a fast quad which is light weigh and smaller than my ds and i thought about the BANSHEE!!!! so my question to you banshee guyz ownerz is how the bunshee performance on trails/woods/dunes and what is the stock banshee top end?? and does a banshee is faster as my ds? is it a better ride than a ds?

The DS is smoother and stock it will beat a Banshee on sand. I had a Banshee, and I've got a DS now. Put a set of pipes on the Banshee, and it will run with or beat a stock DS, depending on what kind of pipes. With my DS, I beat my buddy with 03 Banshee & CPI pipes. Another friend has an 01 Banshee with Paul Turner Hi-Revs and he walks from me.
The Banshee can be used for a trail bike, but it will have a tendency to overheat in slow speed trails. The more mods, the worse it will want to boil over. A large radiator would help a lot, but that is an extra $400.
I would say the top speed of a stock Banshee is in the low 70s. But the pipes can bring this thing to life and the hit in the power can be exciting. I've never had more fun than when I had my Banshee. But if going fast on a track is important to you, the Banshee will be more tiring and harder to go fast on for a novice rider.
If you have the $$$ the new 450s might be ATVs to consider.

Well here's my two or three cents a few years back in my younger racing days I had a banshee and being from the midwest we ride mostly trails.. I had alot of work done to mine and if we popped out of the trees I would smoke most anyting.. But in the trees or any kind of slow tech riding you will be hating life. But once you get out into the open... Open it up and smiles per hour they are quite hard to beat.. Plus it seemed like I was always fixing somthing but mybe there where just sooo many aftermarket parts...
