I agree with the Kodiak450 but the Wolvy does not have alot of rack space and was not designed to be carrying alot of heavy gear. I will say they are a realy nice sport machine that happens to be a 4x4. He would have a better chance of finding a 400 Kodiak {used} in his price range and people tend to hang on their Wolveriens longer, which adds up to more thrashing and we know that means more problems down the road. If you look for a Kodiak 400 make sure you get the models that came with high/low range you never know when you want to tow somebody out. The 450Kodiak is almost identical to the older 400's but they did add a locker to it and gave it disc brakes front and rear. AlaskaBoy.

I appreciate everyone's input. I will begin to watch all of our local adds for all of the mentioned quads. I feel I am savvy enough to know what to look for when test driving a used machine. If I am in doubt I would glady spend a little cash to have one of our local indepent service shops look over it. We have one that isn't brand specific. If anyone hears of a machine for sale in the inland northwest, feel free to email me. ACARRUTH@ICEHOUSE.NET
