I am looking to get rid of my Bayou also, I bought this new in 2000 and its a 300 2wd for my wife. I liked the bayou just fine....mine has disc brakes and stops great but for the ridding we do I usally give her the Kodiak to drive because its rough around here and she like the 4x4 better. Grumpymedic , I would consider a 4x4 for your wife unless you don't need it probably the ridding is a bit different in Texas than in Maine so mabey she don't need it!
