Help me decide which one is best for me?

Hey everyone,
Im looking at a 2001 Honda Rancher 350ES 4x4 for around $3000 or a 98 Yamaha Grizzly 600 for $2800, or a 93 Honda 300 4x4 for $2300? Which one of these would be a better price? I would really like to keep the price down to around $2500 so the grizzly and the 93 honda 300 are right around my price range. But, I am thinking that a 300 wont be enough power for me, however, for the price I want to pay the 300 is probably as much as I will get for the money. Any input would be great.
Thanks

The grizz is a piece. My friend has a 2000 and it was junk. And thats after they said the fixed the overheating and everything else.
If you really need to stay in the price, get the 300. But, the rancher is an awesome machine and is bulletproof. I had an 01 Rancher FE exactly like the one you are looking at. I bought it new and used it for ranching and trail riding for the last 3 years. It went through hell and all it ever needed was sparse regular maintenance and a new choke cable. Its well worth the extra money imo.

Ten years is a long time.... You would never know what happen to an atv in ten years. the 300 is a solid bike but you probably have to spend $ on the 300 to make the 2001 a cheaper investment.... like tires etc... That seams high price for a 93.... when an new atv by 8 years is only 800 more. There's not much difference in a 300 to a 350 in power.

It is pretty hard making a decision without seeing the machines.. First I'd look at the condition, second I'd look at who was the primary rider. and I'd find out how often it was used... many machines ridden by more mature riders spend an awful lot of time in the shed instead of out on the trails...

I'll tell you what will happen. If you get the Honda 300, down the road you will kick yourself for not getting the Rancher. The Rancher is much better. I'd pass on the Grizzly. The Rancher would be more reliable. Hope this helps.

There have been lots of changes since 98. Get the Rancher, you will love the ES and it will last.

are these atv's at a dealer or in the paper cuz i think you would be able to chew them down on the price for the rancher have $3,000 with you when you go to look at it but tell him you will take it for $2,700 or $2,800 and show him the bills make sure hes see the money beacause money talks!!!
