Default 2 stroke or 4 stroke???PLEASE HELP

I am looking to buy a newer quad but I don't know what I want, a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke. If I geta 4 it will have to be atleast a 400 but they are a little too high in price. I was also looking at a tecate 4 for $2000 and a 1997 banshee for $3200.What sould I get? PLEASE HELP

Well since money is an issue, go ahead with the banshee or the tecate(I'm not real familiar with them though). They will just require a little more maintenance than a 4 stroke would

buy a 2-stroke and learn to ride it and then ride 4-stroke again, 2-stroke are impressive. some folk's don't have the spirt to ride one. the best 4-stroke's are tying to be like a 2-stroke. the yfz & the trx 450 are good quad's, but maxed out there barely puttin' out what my 500 has with a cork in it's pipe. my 2-stroke's are so easy to rebuild it make them a joy to work on. all that fresh power for $100 & something. try that on a 4-stroke.my rz350 is more fun than a barrel of 4-stroke monkey's

I like what he said.....it was funny! BUT in lamens terms.
2 Strokes have NO low RPM power but once you rap them out ; you are gone!
4 strokes are a all-around better ridding bike because they have good power throughout the RPM range

IE........If you want to haul @$$ and fly like a bird.,....get a two stroke.....other than that go with the 4!
