250R or 400EX

Which do you guys think I should buy; a TRX250R or a 400EX. I already own a '88 TRX250R that is awsome. I love it. My friend has a 400EX, and it is okay but not the same. I'd like to build up a Laeger, Lonestar, Roll Design, or Arens Bike but I don't know if i could find brake parts and an '88 or '89 engine. Which do you guys thinkl I should do??

JD,
I can only tell you what another 250R rider said about my 400EX, "I can ride that all day, but the 250R I can only ride for 20 minutes and take a break.."
I too had the same decision to make. I decided on the 400 because I don't have the time to keep fixing a used machine. A new machine has new parts: Bearings, bushings, seals, piston, ball joints, tires, etc....
It feels tighter, and the suspension is a dream. It will make you a better rider as it allows you to handle trails easier.
I can't complain. My LT still kicks the heck out of me when I ride it. The 400 is awesome, and it is bone stock.
