Dune Quad?
#1
My friend is looking for a good Four-Stroke Dune Quad. He is also going to do a little trail riding. The problem is that he loves the Banshee's powerband and doesn't like the rebuilds every couple years. So now he is stuck on four strokes. So what he's looking for is a good reliable quad with alot of "get up & go", and decent handling. For about $5000(new or used). I was thinking Raptor 660, Z/KFX/DVX 400, or DS 650. Is there any other quad that would fit his picture? Any other suggestions would be appreicated

The 450's have very 2-stroke like powerbands! But, the rebuild interval will probably be way more often than the bikes you mentioned. But, $5,000 puts it out of his price range.
The Z400 is a great all-around machine, but for pure duning the Raptor has nice power (but it's to narrow for my taste).
