Go the Kodiak, The honda's ride is much stiffer and the gas tank is way to small. The new kodiak rides far better and it has a 4 gallon tank and the honda much smaller, So if you hunt far away you will not have to carry extra fuel. The yamaha has 2 or 4 wheel drive just by using a switch the honda does not. Honda is a great machine but they need to get with it and start improving there utility machines like they have there sport machines.

 

The Kodiak has a better ride than the Honda Foremans, but the Honda is better suited for work related use. And like Bill said, all the '02 Foreman 450's have switchable 2wd/4wd modes like the Yamaha. It pretty much comes down to whether or not you prefer a smoother ride over a bit more low end power.
