I'm looking into getting a quad and would like all the info i can get from veteran riders. I'm six feet 250 lbs, the quad will start out as mainly recreation on tight sand trails, no big dunes in east Ok. if the thrill is there i would like to race m/x, tt, and flat track. the tt and flat track ae small indoor courses. There are only two classes 2500 and 251+cc, not much options. Most of my friends run the banshee for racing and 250r's for the dunes but they go the 4 hour drive to little sahara. I think the 400ex would be better for the small courses. The banshees they run have little internal motor work done, no 400+ motors. any information would be helpful
