Some of you know I'm getting a new ATV soon(hopefully) I like a bunch of them like the Honda 300 4x4, Polaris 325 4x4 and Arctic-Cat 300 4x4.

I've looked around(on-line) and I think a Honda 300 4x4 would be just fine for me for a good price. I want a used one, something around a 1995, now I need some answers from Honda 300 4x4 owners.

Do you think like say a 1993 would be good or do they improve as the years go up??? Would a 1993 be just as good as a 1995? or are they the same?
They are full time 4wd from what I've heard, Can you get differential lockers that turn off and on??? Because I think that I would need lockers because it's only 3wd what people call it, and I ride in some pretty mucky terrain.
Another thing, what would be a good price for a 1993-1995?

Your answers, comments and suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.

Dear ATV-MAN

I own a 98 and have only 1 complaint. The only problem with it is the ground clearence.I ride rough and often bash the frame off rocks/logs/etc.
The differential problem I believe can be fixed. The PRODUCT FINDER offers accessories which turn 4x4's into true 4x4's. Check them out at I think!
www.productfinder.ns.ca. If that's not the site e-mail me and I find the right 1.

Details,
The site you gave me didn't work but I'll e-mail you.

I think all you have to do is get lockers for it and their like $150 a pair, but I don't think I'll need them right when I get it, I heard you can just tap the brake when the wheel spins and it will give power to the other tire.

I talked to my dad today about getting a new ATV he says we should get a 400...a 300 would be too small, I'm like YEEEHAWWWW!!!
He said a 1997-1998 would be nice...I'm like "dad that will be very expensive", he's like "ohh well"

Man I can't wait till we get a new one!
