I AM LOOKING FOR A FAST, SPORTY QUAD, SOMETHING TO KEEP UP WITH A YAMAHA WARRIOR. IT NEEDS TO HAVE SELECTABLE 4 WHEEL DRIVE, AND TOUGH ENOUGH FOR SOME JUMPING. ANY SUGGESTIONS? I'M TRYING TO AVOID SPENDING OVER $5,000.

Wait a few weeks. Rumor is that Honda has a new, very light, sporty, 4X4 coming out! It will be in the 250 class, water cooled, and of modern engine design. 250 sounds small, but displacement doesn't mean what it use to! Look at the CRF250. They are milking 30 hp out of it.

 

As of right now I'd go with the wolverine. You can mod it the same as the warrior. You may not be able to out run the modded warriors but you will stay with them on the long straights and blow by them in the mud. Thats the first I've heard of a sporty 4x4 honda 250. If anyone has any more info on that quad- spill it!!

 

Polaris Scrambler, my buddies (he weighs 220lbs) tops out at about 63-64mph. You should be able to do new for just above $5K.
