Raptor 660 ?.. YFZ 450 ?.. or a Predator ? All would be 05, brand new. I've heard highly of all three. I'm going to be using them mainly for messing around in, then eventually get into track racing. Wanted to get 3 of the same (the three using them will all be the same size) and I dont want any fighting about who gets what if I get 3 different. (they will be for me and my 2 sons).

Heh, I would.. but I can't. Like I said I don't want fighting over them, and in the end sombody be PO'd because they didn't get what they wanted. If we got all 3 the same the only thing we would need to fight over is colors, which wouldn't be as bad as the whole quad.

Raptor - Tippy
Predator - Easy To Break
YFZ - Stiff Shocks + Always runs outta gas
If I was you I'd go with a DS, if it's too heavy for ya, I'd wait for the 450 version to be born

If you are just "messing around" and not doing long cross-country rides, a MX bike like the YFZ would be the most fun!

I personally like the Honda 450R for desert cross-country, and the Z400 for trail. The Z is hands down the best all-around machine there is! And I highly recommend you consider it.

When someone says "Messing around" Rally's are the first things to come on my mind, I wouldn't get a YFZ for messing around, YFZ's are way too serious for messing around

Like I said, I would use it at first for messin around, AKA trails.. some jumps, then eventually (within 2 years or so) go into racing.. or minor freestyle. I did hear the other day that the predators do break. And how tippy are the raptors ? Was also told that the YFZ was mainly for racing, and I'm not looking to get into that as of yet, but then again I'm not going to have the money to get a new one for a while.. and I'm not really looking for a Honda

scorpion-What is a "rally"?

cake-You live in Arizona. Aren't you ever going to do any desert cross-country??? The YFZ is set up for MX. I have found it a pretty harsh ride on rough trails, but they say they softened up the suspension for 05.

I like the YFZ even though the suspesion is a little harder than the raptors or the predators it is better, you can do a lot more jumping. It also has enough power to get you out of any thing.I would go with that mainly because it is lower but still has the ground clearence and is good for logging roads and trails.
