Time for an update guys...(no foolin')

Bought a Camo'd Polaris Sportsman 500 - brought it home last night; haven't got stuck yet, in one hour of break-in muddin'......I did ride these three units and they all felt too cool. So, I fell back to logic kicking in again and started looking for value (at least in my mind's eye).

I felt that the sportsman's physical size wasn't as big or clumsy as I thought. Thought that the changes in '05 vs the previous years helped minimize some of my maintenance concerns (only three zerks); plus little things (tire quality, receiver hitch, tackle box) made me pick Polaris. Got a local price equal to the oft mentioned Tennesee volume dealers' prices too. Good deal relative to prices mentioned on these posts (6150 pre taxes) and no buyer's remorse....Time will tell, ultimately.

What would we do without this forum (and some of the others)
