fourtrax 350 or wolverine????
#1
I am looking at getting a fourwheeler, i want a 4x4 and something that can handle trails, for that is where ill be riding most long trips back in the woods. i dont care if the bike is fast, as long as it has the power to make it up hills and over obsticles. Any other suggestions? not buying a new bike either it will be used.

By Fourtrax 350, I presume you mean the Rancher??? We really love our Ranchers. Superb machine. They are comparatively light, and quite agile. Must have a Warn 424 however. It's no powerhouse, but it gets the job done.
I like the old Wolverine 350 concept. The new Wolverine 450 is nothng but a ute with no racks. It's an unknown for now, until we get some reviews on it.

I would love to see a bunch of bikes along the lines of the OLD Wolverine! It is really the type of machine that most people need. Sporty and light (at least compared to any utility), but with 4wd just in case you get into trouble out there on the trail.

I never miss a chance to rag on Polaris (or Arctic Cat) for being the absolute lard a$$ of all machines. Go to the Polaris web site, and look up the weight of any "Sportsman". Everything is well over 700 pounds!
The lightest Sportsman is 200 pounds heavier than a Rancher, and 250 heavier than the OLD Wolverine. That's like riding around with a passenger aboard, or a dead deer. Doesn't exactly make for a very "sporty" ride.
