I know i want a nice sport quad that i can do some serious riding on. I've got my choices down to either the new Honda, Polaris Preditor, or the Yamaha YFZ450. So if anyone has an opinion on which one is the best i would appreciate it.

 

I would say Raptor 660r...or the new honda....

 

If you wait another month or two, one of the mags is bound to do a shootout between the new Yam and Honda. Realistically you could go with any of those quads and have a lot of good times, they are all very capable machines.

 

Depends on the terrain you ride. The 450's like to rev, so I prefer them for more open country and fast open trails. With them, on a slow tight trail you need to do a lot of clutch work to keep the engine revved out like is should be (kind of like riding a 2-stroke).

For an all-around machine I like the Z400, and for a lot of very tight semi-technical trail riding I like the 400EX.

 

If your going to trail ride alot i wouldnt suggest the any of the 450s.
