I've been looking at several quads and am undecided. This will be our 2nd ... currently have Kawasaki Prairie 360 4x4. Stuck between Polaris 05 Sportsman 400 (comfortable ride) and a Suzuki Eiger or Vinson (which I haven't ridden yet). I go 250 5' 9" and am not an experienced rider. I've mainly been using the 360 for plowing and yard type work. But have recently been introduced to some awesome trail riding and I'm hooked. Need more power.

Check out the Bombardier Outlander 400, ranks tops in its class, very comfortable ride and a very strong engine. IRS, Visco Lock 4WD, HO400 Rotax engine.

 

Purchased two bomb 400 outlanders which I just returned from using on a hunting trip. Put about 200 miles on each over the 7 day period. No problems other then I had a fouled plug on one of the machines after about 50 miles, worked perfect after replacing. Spent time a few different times towing my partners Honda foreman and Yamaha grissley up a few snowey inclines. I think the machines where fine, they just needed new tires; sure impressed them though. When I was looking I keep hearing about the 650's and the 800's; for my use which is mostly hunting and just enjoying the outdoors going 75 miles an hour in the woods just isn't practical. To each his own!
