Currently using a Honda 450ES on the farm. Very happy with this quad best tool on the farm. What quad would you recommend to replace?

A 500 Foreman manual shift would likely be rock solid reliable...

my mom has a 450 honda ES and my dad has a 450 honda S and well my arctic cat 650 is 50 times better on the farm then both of these machines. reliability wise they are about the same my dads 450s and my 650 cat have about the same miles and none of them have been touched. we have the same type and size of tires even though i been running larger tires longer. his front wheel bearings just went out but that is forgiveable for being in manuear all the time even though mine is to. the biggest thing is when it comes to the ride i can go across fields and pasteurs without even a jolt to the body where the honda is a very rough riding machine. pulling wise well i guess we can't compare cause the 650 has way more power then the 450. that is apples and oranges. well braking honda had drum brakes but thankfully are going to disk brakes where the cat has full disk brakes all around. and well if you decide to ride around with friends the cat is way more fun you can go through stuff in 2wd where the foreman 450 won't go in 4wd. don't get me wrong honda makes an awesome machine it just doesn't seem to fit as well on the farm as the cat does.

look into bombardier (also now known as BRP) and look into the traxter line. We had one for our farm work and it did GREAT. Pulled full hay wagons, brought hay out to the pasture, plowed snow...did great for work
