finance confusion

Default finance confusion

im in the process of trying to finance an o6 arctic cat 400 4x4 but having a hard time i started the process 2 days ago and all ive heard so far is part of the app was denied???????? im 23 have perfect credit got financed for a home and a truck and i have credit cards but the credit cards barely have anything on them i even have my fiance as a cosigner we own the home togther credit cards together everything the same for both of us .whats the deal i can buy a home but not am atv??? the dealer is trying diffent banks so im keeping my fingers crossed anyone got any info as to why im having a hard time or is it just that financing an atv is harder than buying a home thanks for listening to me whine but i need my arctic cat and thanks in advance for you input

Its very possible that you have very good credit BUT your to close to your loan/debt ratio and they will concider you a high risk to default.

You can have the best credit in the world,but if you have to much money going out on other loans and not enough money coming in to pay for the new ATV loan,they can deny you.

The credit cards with low balances could actually be part of your problem. They use the logic that if you have low balances you could go into massive debt at anytime and not be able to pay anyone. So that hurts your score.

well i got my answer today i did finally get my financing for my arctic cat 400 4x4 auto yahoo i ended up needing to put my wife on the loan as well which i was doing anyway but they werent aware of that basically my credit is perfect but its short term credit meaning its been established over the past 3 or so years rather than long term which is 5 or so years but thanks for all your info
