Im a first time quad rider, i will be doing mostly trail ridding. I want to know wht would be better for me, a 400ex or a banshee. I've been thinking about this for a long time and I still havent came to a conclusion.

 

I would go with the 400ex.
It appears to have the advantage for most trail riding, and I think it would be more forgiving for a new rider than a banshee with it's 2-stroke hit.
Of course the thrill of riding a two-stroke twin is tough to beat.

On the other hand if you can swing the price, the Raptor looks like a pretty sweet ride, plus it's got the added advantage of reverse that neither the 400ex or banshee has.

Anyways, ride them both and pick the one you like.
