Hey, we have to tell it like it is so kids looking for a used quad aren't going to make a big mistake! Just doing a public service...............
Yeah, big mistakes, like buying a rancher?......... jk

Thanks for all the repies. I ended up getting a 04' KFX400 for $3200.00 instead of the Honda 400EX. It's stock except for a UNI air filter and it has no problem whooping my other friends quads.

What irritates me is!
Those 6-packs work pretty good.

Anyways so the 400ex will be quicker then a bored out warrior?

I agree my friend that bought the Blaster paid too much. A new one is close to the same price.

An I was kinda worried about my friend that bought the Warrior because the engine was tore apart and you don't know if it was done correctly but the price looked good for him I guess.

So for trail riding how many pounds of pressure should I run in my tires?
You are already comparing an engine that is 50cc larger and has 4 valves versus two. So it takes quite a bit to make it run better, though the 6 speed tranny in the warrior does help some in a drag (does little if any good on a track as the EX doesn't mind being lugged out). But even if you do make a warrior faster, it still doesn't handle as well.

The only time I'd pick a warrior is if I road tight technical trails and needed reverse.

And they want too much for the blaster.

go with the 400ex bulletproof machine big difference over the 2 smoke blaster(will grow out of it very quick) and a warrior well what can I say its a warrior the 400 will be a much better quad then any of the others. Nice I just read your last reply and you will be happy with the kfx good luck with her.

i am looking for
a sport quad too
i loked at those quads and i also looked at a
lakota and a 300 ex
reverse is a must because im only 125 pounds and 14 years old
so that ruled out the blaster and i want to be able to keep growing in to it so im going with a warrior or an 05 ex as soon as i find a reasonable deal

The Warrior is a terrible machine! (I know firsthand, I rode one for YEARS.) So if this is yours you got hosed, even at $1,500
You guys hating on warriors are just being dumb...And im not just saying that becouse iv had one since 01 with NO PROBS....Iv had all kinds of quads...Just look in my pic page..Iv been on just about everything...All are very good quads..The thing the warrior have over the other two is You can BACK UP....lol..For a good trail quad the warrior is hard to beat..They warrior will run forever with out messing up...If you take care of it...The 400ex is faster and lighter..And if all your going for is speed..then the 400ex would be a better choice...And if your around 160lbs or smaller the blaster will be a good one....If what ever you want to buy..Dont let some of these hatters turn you there way..
