lol, now i gotta debate wether or not to try to get a sporty quad vs a ut 4x4

With the right tires and 50mph, who needs to go in the mud when you can fly over it??

but does that mean no snow riding?

shiiiyat.

get a 4x4. we have them and they are a blast year-round. sporty quads are fun on hard packed dirt, tracks and trails but thats about it. 4x4 go on anything and are not limited by things like lots of mud and snow like sporty quads are. plus 4x4s are pretty fast( our 700 EFI can pull up a wheelie and go 70-80 mph).

4x4s are fast, but the sportsman isnt that fast. I top at about 70mph, and my buddies sp700 is far behind me. His tops about 63-64. The 800 is a different story. But on the other hand, when your 4x4 riding in the deepest part of the woods, its not a good idea to go 70mph on a 700lb+ machine!! Nobody will find you out there.

i dont know whats up with youre friends 700 but thats slow. my uncle has a 00' sp 500 H.O and that does about 64 mph. i have not really tested out the top end in our 06' sp 700 EFI yet (Still in break in mode) but i have got that up to 60 mph very easily. plus the the guy at the place we bought it from said it could go 70-80 mph.

if you ride them fast on street it is dangerous as hell. The tires are so low of psi and they are off-road tires so they will bite when you go fast and pull you really hard so you could flip really easy. i go that fast on gravel roads by my cabin. 70 mph sounds really fast but when you do it on a 4x4 its a real adrenaline rush.
