I have found 2 quads the 450r and the Z400 both are 2006 and are priced about the same should I go with the 450 or what?im about 6ft 4 250 lbs and would be trail/dirt roads/track riding.Are the 450s that bad on the trails that I would hate it?This will be my 1st quad so i want to make the right purchase.

 

i have a Z400 and love everything about it.i ride in woods and it is great all around,the 450r quads are fast but i have heard bad things on how they handle in rough terrian.

 

The only drawback of the 450 is no reverse.

 

I love my 450, for every kind of riding i do. I have never been to a track with it, and mostly just ride trials, and roads. You need to be good with a clutch to ride tight trails with the 450, and the best thing is that you can just drop the clutch and spin it around in a really tight area, who needs reverse unless you are going to be mudding. the z400 is a good quad as well. pick the one that you feel most comfortable on. also, have you lookin into the 400ex. i used to have one of those and it was undestructable.
