Default Buying a Banshee

Ok heres what I'm looking at: 2001 Yamaha Banshee with, new crank, new wiesco pistons (bored .06 over), brand new holeshot rear tires. The guy wanted $2,700 in the add but he is considering my offer of $2,400 which is the most I'd be willing to pay for this machine. So what do you all think $2,400 deal/no deal?

Yea went to look at it today, I have to start of by saying it looked better in the add, the plastic was all stressed out, the guy wouldn't even let me take it out for a spin just seemed kinda shady. Anyways now I'm looking at a bone stock 86' Fourtrax 250r it seems to be a sweet deal for $2,800.

Yep, if its used and you can't ride it. Don't buy it. Those 250r's are sweet as well, and can be made to go very fast.
