Default thinking about another quad

well ive narrowed it down to a few. its either going to be a 660 grizzly, 700 grizzly, or a kingquad. i like the look of the brute force, but dont think its the right atv for me. ive heard the rincon is kind of sorry. i plan on upgrading the tires, and most likely the rims as well. i like the look of the 700 the best, and it seems like it would be a great machine, ability wise as well. only problem is the price. 7200 is alot when they have 06 600s for around 6200.

If your looking for an All terrain tire, look at my pics. They are the #1 rated all terrain tire, and work great in snow, mud, rough terrain, and hardpack riding. They are called Interco Swamplites

They are holding upi great. If you look at my pic of exaust after it was painted, thats the tire with 300 hard miles on them. No signs of wear, or age yet. I ride pretty rough terrain (sharp rocks, logs, gravel)

Those are good tires, after i donate a few months worth of plasma I think I am going to get some 27" ones

Yoda, I would cross out the 660 griz, and only look at the 700griz and the 700kq, as the EFI is worth the extra money, and 3 years from now you are going to be thinking back wishing you just got the newer - up dated ATV. KQ's are dirt cheap now too. Good luck.

well its down to the kq, 700 grizz and the 660 still. if the dealer would get in a few 700 grizzlys it would make me feel better. then i could go check them all out at once (the dealer is a suzuki and yamaha dealer). im just getting tired of waiting, and it doesnt help with all the rumors i hear on line. i wonder if 27s will fit on the new 700??

I'd lean towards the KQ over a 660 Grizz if for no other reason then you are getting EFI and a larger motor. The 700 Grizz is actually a 686 so you are still getting a bit more with the KQ.

I agree with yodawagon. IF you ride ac or polaris you suck really bad. Go with the new grizz

I guess...if the extra 9 cc's really mean that much to you. I'd still wager that the engine performance difference isn't going to be that noticeable if at all. The Yamaha still might win but I'll wait for the comparisons before I start on that. From what I've read, the new Grizz pretty much has everything else on the KQ.

He inquired about the 660 as well as an option. The Grizz 700 is pushing the Outlander 650 price range though and hands down I'd go for the Outlander over either.
