I own a polaris sawtooth and this is how much I paid for it. My aunt won it for free and she sold it to me for $2000 =>>>>>>>
How did she win it? Through Les Schwab tires?

I'm cheap. I set myself a $3K budget for two quads and a trailer. I bought a modded 2002 Blaster (bored 240, fmf fat pipe and silencer, boysen reeds, holeshot tires, etc.) for $1300 on eBay, plus the $150 in gas to drive up to Iowa to get it. Picked up a older trailer on the same trip for $270; have adapted it since to haul 3 quads. Found a 2000 Polaris Trailblazer locally for $800 that needed $400 of work to fix front brake, replace front tires and find out reverse wasn't worth fixing. Not the prettiest pair of bikes on the trail, but I made it within my budget. It was a good way for us to start. My 17 y.o. boy has rolled both already and I might have felt bad about him breaking a new machine.

2005 Polaris SP 400 $5430 (Included EBS) - Purch in Dec of '04 - Paid cash
2005 Polaris SP 500 HO $5675 - Purch in Jan of '06 - Was going to pay cash but had 0% interest until Jan 1. Have cash sitting in CD until Dec. and will pay for it then.
The above prices did not include sales tax or state registration.
At the time these prices were par for the course in the Kansas City area. Not sure what prices have done since.

I bought a repo 2005 TRX 450R for $3800 from a friend who works at a Ford dealship. He found it at a dealer only auction. And a '89 TRX 250R (more like a 320R) all decked out for $3500. it used to be my buddies race quad here in WI. It'll either be a winter project (new aftermarket frame) or I might just sell it. Not sure yet. Have a 4 month old daughter now, gotta see what the budget looks like first.

I put down $2000 cash for my atv, financed $2500 on the Suzuki credit card, paying $225 per month so I have it paid off in 12 months. The low rate on the credit card only lasts for 2 years, after that it will take you 50 years to pay it off.
