Raptor 700 or KFX 700
Well out of the 400s the z/kfx is faster then the ex but the ex is a lot better trial quad and is more reliable. As far as the 450s the last review i read the honda was cheapest/ best in trails and honda makes an hrc hop up kit wich helps a lot. the Yfz was said to be best overall and the ltr was voted fasted on a track. As far as my openion i have rode all 3 and i ended up with the yfz. I liked the honda but its suspension was terrable stock. The ltr is a very fast quad but it is not very good in trails since it is so wide but its suspension/power is amazing. the yfz has good power decent suspension and is reliable. The numbers on the 450s are honda about 33 hp yamaha about 38 hp suzuki about 42 hp i think. The only reason i would stay away from the suzuki is because my best friend bought a ltr the same time i got my yfz and he has been through 4 trannies in 8 mounths and his motor is about to blow. I also heard to stay away form the 06 honda 450r's and i think it has something to do with the frount end. But all in all ide get the a z or kfx (they r the same quad) its just what color u like

Raptor 700 or KFX 700
My friend, at your weight and height I would have to recommend the Raptor... By the way I own a highly modified KFX700/796 with plenty of goodies. But I have a group of good buddies, and in that group we have an 04 660 and an 06 700. Both good bikes, riden them both for several hours (all sand dunes). Lot'sof fun (crappy stock suspension, but same w/ my Kaw). Now there is something special about that raw bottom end torque from the Kaw V-twin, don't get me wrong (and it will never break).
But for your size, just go build a bad A__ Rap
Have fun and ride safe...

I like the 400EX for very tight trails. It has a motor that will lug down and doesn't mind being riden slow. Great handling, great jumper, and a good all-around machine, but not a powerhouse.
The Z400 is probably the best all-round machine there is. Great handling and descent power. Engine has lots of hop up potential with just a few simple mods. Never liked jumping mine....had a tendancey to come off the jumps nose low.
The Raptor 700 would be my second choice for an all-around machine, but like I said I would have to widen it a little.
I pick the 450R for faster open trails, and wide open country. These machines are geared tall and like to get out and run fast. Not my choice for tight trails, because of all the clutch work required. Great jumper!
