Mr. Jon 06; The name Banshee is legendary..Check out this months issue of dirt wheels.. Yamaha may be planning a new 500cc twin cylinder (side by side) four stroke called, the Banshee. Now to your other question; the last Banshee I saw on a show-room floor was about 7 months ago.. There are plenty of good deals out there on used Banshees (with mods)... Take your time and find what you want. The most plentiful stock of used Banshees will be on the west coast (something about sand)... I've seen serious machines going for 4-6K...Good Luck

 

You can still buy 2007 Banshees in Canada....

a few months ago someone on this site said they were going to Canada to buy one, and someone from Canada chimed in and said yup, they are on the showroom floors.....

 

Yep, saw a few Banshees on the showroom floor just yesterday at South Bay Motorsports here in San Diego.

 

if you found one brand new 06...im sure you would get a killer deal on it....

 

my dealership has one on the showroom floor all the time. and they are different ones. and i live in the 4x4 country, trust me if i lived in a different part of the country i would'nt be ridding a kq450 id have my dream machine. i love the sound of a 2 stoke over any 4 stoke any day of the week. the 450's are nice but it sounds like a 4 stroke and it is one. too bad
