As long as it's not an '01, the trannys have problems. The 660 is not all that it hyped to be. It's performance is close to a Z400. More torque, more weight. The raptor 700 is totally new quad, it shares almost nothing with the 660. The 660 is good just not great, I would buy it over a warrior anyday though.

buy a 400ex,z400/kfx400 and only the raptor660 if its a REAL good deal

i think if you get the raptor 350 you'll be bored of it in a year or so. Im the same size as you and i have the z400/kfx. but you dont get much ground clearance on a sport quad, so you need to make sure you can get through alright.

go test ride a few differnet ones to get a feel for them. then make the choice

I rode an old 250 for over 12 years until I bought my Wolverine and it could haul me around anywhere I wanted to go, albeit not as fast as I would have liked to get there sometimes. But I always had fun doing it.
I have rode a 660 and I dont know what kind of riding you are planning on doing, but If you get one I would definetly suggest some wheel spacers to widen the track out a little. I want to widen my Wolvy out just to help with some of the tippiness on hard turns.
