I am leaning towards the Grizzly since I am already familiar with the powerplant. However I'm not familiar with hours on a quad. What is considered high?

Even though i will ALWAYS choose the AC, it isnt light. But a 2006 650V2, you would love the power. I can flip mine over from a dead stop if i want to, and it will easily carry you around and then some. Its the heaviest of your choices, but is built like a tank, and can haul a house. But if you want to mix sporty in with that package, you have to get the 650V2. My second choice would be the Grizzly. Ive always liked them.

Might want to consider a Suzuki Vinson.
Straight rear axle for handling and manual shift.
Auto clutch, but at least you get to shift and no belt.

The King Quad is out due to price, I'm looking to spend around $4500. I have considered the Vinson but didn't know how it would stack up against the Grizz. I would think since it is a bit smaller it wouldn't offer the low end grunt that the Grizz does.

Can anybody tell me what is considered to be high miles or hours?

The Cat is out then also, as there is no way you will get a new 650 for 4500 bucks. Id have to say go for the Grizz then

if you do some "negotiatiating" and play some hard ball with a couple dealers, you should be able to get a Vinson down to $5000-$5400!! i payed $5900 out the door for my '07 (the bike was $4900 before taxes/tags/title)!! i went between 3 dealers for about 4 days to get that price!

i'm not knocking the Grizz at all, but after our weekend trail trip, i'm glad i went with the vinson!! i went with the manual shift, and the auto was a kicker on the grizz! don't get me wrong that Grizz has got some kick!! riding along with a Grizz in 5th gear, with me(6'2" 225lb) and my wife (....yea i'm not going there, hahaha) at 40mph, when he sped up, i never had to down shift to keep up!! as for ground clearance, the IRS is good and bad, when he sits on his Grizz the suspension moves and he drops to about what i have with my Vinson! gear selection is the way to go (in my opinion), both have a LOW range, but i have 5 choices of low and he had the "GO" gear!

i'm VERY happy and impressed with the OVERALL performance of the Vinson! might want to check into it! good luck, post up your descision!

The ones that I'm looking at are around the 1800-2000 miles.....I'm not sure if that is high or not.....
